@ Xeriea I use Manga Studio Pro or EX, or whatever it’s called now. I started with Debut cause it was cheap, I used to use DELETER ComicWorks and thought Manga Studio could never replace it. I really should never say never cause I always end up doing things anyway (like I said I’d never use a tablet or ink digitally hurrh hurrh.)

Anyway, besides the powerful 3D import and manipulation I think the EX version may have more screentones than Debut. Of course in both versions some of the things they pass off as “screentones” are insulting, like black and white Terragen renders. Beyond that I’m not sure, since I had Debut 2.0 I think and now have EX 4.0.

Again EX is pretty pricey but you can find it at cons and other websites or get earlier versions of it a bit cheaper if you shop around.

Wow, nice tutorial. Its quick and helps you get a feel for the programs itself. I have a questions regarding the program you were using for inking. Did you use manga Studio Pro or Debut? What are the differences?

@Kyriea: lol, Yeah I’m one of those people who makes the face they’re drawing too. Some of the other pauses were me answering IMs, I was actually listening to movie commentary while inking too but you can’t see any of that
